Women's Golf Finishes 10th at Molly Collegiate Invitational

SEASIDE, Calif. – Rutgers women's golf took home 10th place at the Molly Collegiate at Bayonet Golf Course in California.
Lucrezia Rossettin led the way for the Scarlet Knights, finishing in a tie for 11th place on the individual leaderboard.Round 3 – Tuesday, October 1st
Rossettin continued her consistent play in the final round, carding three more birdies to shoot a 1-over 73 and finish in a tie for 11th at 1-over 217 (72-72-73). She would post 11 birdies for the tournament.
Joline Truong played the front nine at even-par and birdied No. 14 to post a 3-over 75 in the final round. She moved up on the leaderboard to finish in a tie for 32nd at 12-over 228 (76-77-75).
Krystal Li and Grace Lu both tied for 48th place for the tournament. Li shot an 8-over 80 in the final round and shot 20-over 236 (79-77-80) for the week. Lu improved in each of her rounds, closing out the event with a 4-over 76 with a pair of birdies on the back nine. She finished at 20-over 236 (81-79-76) as well.
Emily James posted a T52 finish, shooting a 9-over 81 with a birdie on Tuesday. She carded a 21-over 237 (77-79-81) on the tournament. Competing as an individual, Judy Amano finished in a tie for 44th wiht a 17-over 233 (74-76-83).
Rounds 1 & 2 – Monday, September 30th
Rossettin opened her day with an even-par 72 in the first round, rolling in five birdies to highlight her round. In her second round, she posted another 72 and three more birdies, including a pair on the back nine to shoot a 1-under 35 in her final nine on the day.
Freshman Joline Truong posted a 4-over 76 in her first round with a pair of birdies on the back nine. She birdies holes No. 1 and 2 in the second round en route to a 5-over 77 and is in a tie for 35th.
Emily James and and Krystal Li are in a tie for 46th after each shooting a 12-over 156 on the day.
Grace Lu shot a 9-over 81 in her first round, improving in round two with a 7-over 79 and is in a tie for 58th.
Competing as an individual, Judy Amano posted her low round for RU with a 2-over 74 in the first round, carding birdies on No. 8 and No. 12. She added three more birdies in her second round and is in a tie for 23rd.
