Hoffman & Sturgill Finish In Top Eight With Top 10 Program Scores On Platform In Final Day Of Buckeye Invite

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Rutgers diving closed out the Buckeye Invitational with two program top 10 scores on platform on Saturday afternoon at McCorkle Aquatics Pavilion.
In the Scarlet Knights' first appearance on platform this season, freshman Katerina Hoffman led the corps with a fourth-place performance. She scored 273.65 for the sixth-best score in Rutgers history.
Fellow freshman Bailee Sturgill also placed her name on the all-time list, taking eighth place. Her score of 248.60 marked the ninth-best score by a Scarlet Knight.
Senior Holly Prasanto and freshman Madilyn Varnum also competed on Saturday. Prasanto finished 15th with a score of 212.05, while Varnum took 26th with 184.10.
The Scarlet Knight swimmers return to the water at the Minnesota Invitational on Dec. 4-7.
