2025 Football Schedule Released

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football will open 2025 with four consecutive games at SHI Stadium as part of the complete schedule released Wednesday. Overall, the Scarlet Knights will host seven home contests.
The homestand includes Ohio (Aug. 30), Miami (Ohio) (Sept. 6) and Norfolk State (Sept. 13) in non-conference action before starting the Big Ten slate versus Iowa (Sept. 20). The remaining games at SHI Stadium see the Scarlet Knights take on Oregon (Oct. 18) for the first time, while facing Maryland (Nov. 8) and Penn State (Nov. 29).
Big Ten road action features trips to Minnesota (Sept. 27), Washington (Oct. 11), Purdue (Oct. 25), Illinois (Nov. 1) and Ohio State (Nov. 22). The two open weekends are Oct. 4 and Nov. 15.
Game times and television networks will be announced at a later date.
