PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Emily Leese won the vault and floor events as Rutgers gymnastics scored a 195.325 on Friday night at Jersey Mike's Arena, falling to Iowa's 196.300 in the Big Ten dual meet.
The Scarlet Knights shined on beam with a season-best 49.125, dropping an excellent 9.725 by
Katy Koopman and combining scores from
Emily Leese (9.775),
Gabrielle Dildy (9.850),
Jacqueline Manifold (9.875),
Rachael Riley (9.825), and
Stephanie Zannella (9.800) for the season-high score.

- Emily Leese scored her second consecutive 9.875 on vault to win an event in a Big Ten dual. She concluded the evening with a 9.850 floor routine, finishing in a three-way tie for the event title in the dual with the Hawkeyes.
- Jacqueline Manifold's season-best 9.875 on beam was Rutgers' top score in the event, good for second place in the competition.
- Avery Balser turned in her fourth score of 9.825 or higher this season, tying for third with that 9.825 on Friday.
