400 Medley Relay Team Sets New ECAC Record

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Rutgers women's swimming advanced a pair of relay squads and two distance Scarlet Knights to finals on day one of the ECAC Championships with the 400 medley relay squad setting a new ECAC record.
| RELAY |
- The 400 medley relay team of Martyna Piesko, Tina Celik, Viktoriia Kostromina and Ella Hall took first in Friday's final in a time of 3:42.30. The group not only held a 2.27 margin of victory but also set a new ECAC standard in the event besting the previous record of 3:42.93 set by Virginia in 2016.
- The 200 free relay team finished third. The team of Hall, Jillian Ruffner, Grace Hagemaster and Tina Celik combined for a time of 1:35.66. Hall's lead off of 24.35 marked a PR.

| DISTANCE |
- Ella Hall, who was a part of both relays, reached the A final of the 500 taking eighth in 5:06.96.
- Grace Hagemaster qualified for the evening's B final finishing seventh in the heat and 15th overall hitting the wall I 5:13.06.

- The ECAC Championships continue on Saturday with the 200 medley relay, 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back and 800 free relay. Prelims begin at 10 a.m. with finals at 6 p.m.
