PISCATAWAY, N.J. – For the first time in program history, Rutgers baseball will play home games on national television. The Big Ten released its linear programming schedules on Wednesday afternoon and RU is set for three contests to air nationally on the Big Ten Network, including two at Bainton Field.
- April 14 vs. Nebraska (12:00 p.m.)
- April 28 at Indiana (11:00 a.m.)
- May 4 vs. Maryland (12:00 p.m.)
The home games against Nebraska and Maryland will mark the first time the Big Ten Network will televise Rutgers home games and is a testament to the continued facilities enhancements at Bainton Field and RU.
In addition to the three contests already locked in for national television, the network will also select six wildcard games from the final weekend of the conference slate (May 16-18) to be broadcast on BTN.
