BOSTON – Rutgers pole vaulter
Chloe Timberg finished tied for third at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships Friday night at the Track at New Balance in Boston.
Sincere Robinson placed sixth in the men's long jump as the pair earned First Team All-American honors for their performances.
The reigning two-time Big Ten Indoor Champion and school record holder, Timberg cleared a height of 4.45m (14' 7.25") to post her best finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships. It marked the second appearance at the indoor national championships as she earned a spot at the 2023 competition.
Timberg is coming off earning back-to-back gold medals at the conference championships. She was named the Big Ten Field Athlete of the Championships after setting the meet and school record for the second-straight time at the 2024 championships.
Robinson posted a personal-best 7.90m (25' 11") to place sixth in the event, marking his highest finish at the indoor nationals. The three-time NCAA indoor qualifier was previously named Second Team All-American in 2022 and 2023.
Robinson finished runner-up at the 2024 Big Ten Indoor Championships in the long jump. It was his third career medal at the indoor conference meet after winning gold in 2023 and silver in 2022.
