Nordvik Named Big Ten Co-Golfer of the Week

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – After her second career victory at the Rutgers Invitational last weekend, Rutgers senior Rikke Nordvik was named Big Ten Co-Golfer of the Week by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Nordvik won the individual title at the Rutgers Invitational last weekend by four strokes, and led after all three rounds to earn the victory in wire-to-wire fashion.
For the weekend, Nordvike shot a 214 (69-74-71) to also lead RU to a team victory, while her 1-over score to par set a tournament record for low score, besting the mark of 3-over previously set by Georgetown's Alexa Popowitz in 2017.
Nordvik receives the honor from the conference for the second time in her career, also earning Golfer of the Week accolades after her title at the Rocket Classic in 2022.
