PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football is set to host its annual Scarlet-White Game, presented by
PNC, on Saturday, April 27 at SHI Stadium. The on-field action starts at 3 p.m. and is part of
Rutgers Day, one of the busiest days of the year on campus. Admission and parking are free.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to take part in free pregame activities inside of SHI Stadium beginning at 2 p.m. Stop by The Rutgers Boardwalk, presented by the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism, which is moving onto the field for the day behind the north end zone. All fans can enjoy free games and rides, including the Ferris wheel, on the field before and during the game.
The Touchdown Club will hold an auction up on the concourse, while
All-American Ford,
VisitNJ.org and the PNC Mobile Learning Adventure will host activations outside the North Gate. Stop by the merchandise stand for a "spring cleaning" sale, with discounts up to 70 percent on select items, and visit the poster tables along the concourse to grab a free 2024 Rutgers season schedule poster. NFL Knights including Blessuan Austin, Kenny Britt, Sebastian Joseph-Day and Steve Longa will hold an autograph session on the north side of the stadium near section 114.
The Marching Scarlet Knights and Rutgers Spirit Team will be in attendance and perform throughout the afternoon, alongside Sir Henry, the cannon crew and the Rutgers Knight. Halftime will feature the annual team spring awards, as well as a punt-catching contest with Rutgers celebrities. In addition, stay tuned for a big announcement from Rutgers Hall of Famer Eric LeGrand between the third and fourth quarters.
Rutgers will introduce an added layer of safety to the entry procedure into SHI Stadium as security enhancements will be utilized at select gates prior to the Scarlet-White Game. Fans are advised to allow for possible extra time to enter the stadium. The system will be fully installed at all entry points for the 2024 football season. The
bag policy remains in place.
The Scarlet Knights are coming off a 31-24 victory over Miami to capture the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl championship and secure the program's first winning season since 2014. RU finished No. 16 nationally in total defense, was the most improved team in the Big Ten by total offense and led the nation with three blocked punts.
Fans can watch live via
Big Ten Network's stream on B1G+ with Jerry Recco (play-by-play), Eric LeGrand (analyst) and Dom Savino (sideline) on the call. Viewers can take advantage of a free one-month trial to B1G+ by creating an account and redeeming
here. A replay on the linear network will debut the same day at 8 p.m. and repeat on Big Ten Network in the following weeks.

The Rutgers Boardwalk is presented by the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism and returns to the field for the Scarlet-White Game. The iconic Ferris wheel will be in the north end zone, accompanied by usual favorites including carnival games, photobooth, face painter and more. The horse and cannon crew will also be in the area.
Rutgers football is a longtime supporter of Special Olympics New Jersey and its mission. Athletes from Special Olympics will be on hand for a special final play, presented by
RWJBarnabas Health.
