PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football (3-4, 0-4) lost to No. 8 Oregon (6-1, 3-1), 56-10, on Saturday at SHI Stadium.

DB Jett Elad forced a fumble on the opening series, which was recovered by DL Jordan Walker. PK Jai Patel followed with a 51-yard field goal to tie his career long. DB Cam Miller added an interception in the third quarter.

RB Ja'shon Benjamin added his second rushing touchdown of the season to go along with 69 yards on the ground.

UP NEXT

Rutgers returns to the road for the third time in four games with a trip to face Purdue on Oct. 25. It will be the Scarlet Knights' first trip to Ross-Ade Stadium with fans in the stands, previously visiting in 2020. Kickoff is set for noon on Big Ten Network.
