PISCATWAY, N.J. – Joschi Schelb and Braxton Montgomery of Rutgers men's soccer were honored as part of the 2025 Big Ten All-Conference Postseason Awards. The conference made the announcement Thursday afternoon. Â
Schelb was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team while Montgomery was chosen to the All-Freshman team. Nestor Cabrera was also the team's Sportsmanship pick. Â
Joschi SchelbÂ
Schelb played in all 17 games this season and made 16 starts. He paced the team with seven goals, four assists and 18 total points. Â
Schelb started the year off strong in nonconference play, with six goals through the first six games. He netted a first half hat trick at William & Mary, the first by a Scarlet Knight since 2016. Â
His 18 points and seven goals ended the season ranked sixth in the Big Ten. Â
Braxton Montgomery
Montgomery burst onto the scene as a freshman, taking on a start roll on the defense. He was one of only three Scarlet Knights, the others being Ciaran Dalton and Nick Collins, to start all 17 games this season. Â
The Scottsdale, Arizona native helped the defense to five shutouts, the most for RU since 2021. Â
