The trio also led the team on the boards with Lester bringing down nine rebounds to tie her career high, Ndiaye grabbing eight and Perkins seven.

The contest featured six ties, but the Scarlet Knights ultimately outscored the Saints 22-16 in the fourth quarter to come out with the win.

How it Happened

  • Perkins kept up the production with another five points on her own. Siena put an end to the 9-0 stretch with a free throw and a shot from deep to cut the gap, 25-14, with just under 1:30 left in the opening period.
  • The score would stay at the end of the first 10 minutes.
  • The Saints started the second quarter with five in a row to put the contest within six points, 25-19, at the 6:25 media timeout.
  • Siena kept up the scoring with another layup after the stop to bring the gap down to four points, 25-21.
  • Nene Ndiaye put an end to the run with a pair of free throws, but the opposition matched the points to keep the difference at 4:15.

  • Siena added one more two-pointer before the 5:32 media timeout, but Rutgers remained in control, 57-52.
