HANOVER, N.H. — Rutgers tennis concluded its third and final day of the Big Green Invitational on Sunday, November 9, hosted at Dartmouth in Hanover, New Hampshire.Â
Rutgers amassed 21 wins over the weekend, including seven doubles and fourteen singles. The final day was spent focusing on singles play against UMass.
Singles
The Scarlet Knights earned seven wins in singles today.
Senior
Mai Nguyen found success in straight sets, winning her match 6-2, 6-0. Following her lead,
Zuzanna Frankowska found victory in her match, 6-0, 6-1.
Karina Jumazhanova continued the trend in her match, going 6-3 in back-to-back sets.
Zeynep Ilker secured a win in her match, 6-0, 6-3.
Freshman
Savannah Cohen went undefeated in singles this weekend, winning her match in the last two sets, 7-5, 10-4.
Naomi Karki won her first set 6-2. She fell in the second, but eventually went on to secure a win in her third set, 10-8.
Cindy Zhou also claimed victory through straight sets, 6-2, 6-1.
