
Gymnastics Posts Season High to Celebrate 50 Years

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers gymnastics scored a season-high 195.350 to celebrate 50 years of program history in a tri meet against Michigan and Kent State on Saturday at Jersey Mike's Arena.
The Wolverines claimed the meet and the Big Ten win with a score of 196.900, while Rutgers defeated Kent State's 194.500.
Rutgers' season-high team score was powered by vault, where Elia Aird led with a 9.825 to push the team to its best vault score of the season at 48.775. Rachael Riley chipped in a 9.800, followed by 9.775's from Anna Pagliaro and Gabrielle Dildy.
The Scarlet Knights' best score of the day came on floor, where Dildy anchored with her 9.850 to continue to lead the team in the event. Donna Uhlenberg contributed with her career-high-tying 9.825, while Maya Jones also shined with a 9.825.
Freshmen Reagan Schenkel and Delaney Adrian paced the bar workers with matching 9.800's, while 9.800's around for Jacqueline Manifold, Pagliaro, and Dildy powered the beam team.
Adrian completed the all-around, coming in with a 38.775 and placing second at the tri meet.
