Tampa, Fla. – Rutgers track and field began is 2025 outdoor season in Tampa, Florda, competing in the USF Alumni Invitational March 21-22. In the first meet of the outdoor schedule, the Scarlet Knights turned in several top performances, including a school record and a pair of event wins.
 
The two first-place finishes came on the women's side with victories in the high jump and javelin. 
Jenovia Logan posted a school-record height to win the high jump, clearing 1.81m (5' 11.25"), while 
Alianna Eucker recorded a throw of 49.15m (161' 3") to win the javelin.
 
On the track, 
Charlee Crawford ran 52.85 to finish fourth in the 400-meter.
 
The men's team featured second-place finishes from 
Steve Coponi and 
Malachi Yehudah. Coponi recorded a throw of 66.58m (218' 5") in the javelin and Yehudah cleared 2.05m (6' 8.75") in the high jump.
 
Bryce Tucker ran 51.25 in the 400-meter hurdles, while 
Nico Morales narrowly missed a school record in the pole vault as he finished fourth with a height of 5.31m (17' 5"), just .01 off the record mark.
 
The Scarlet Knights return to action on March 27-29 for the Raleigh Relays and March 28-29 for the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational.
