Gymnastics Headed to Tuscaloosa for NCAA Regional Championships

The Scarlet Knights will face Clemson in a play-in dual on Thurs., April 3
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers gymnastics is heading to the NCAA Regional Championships for the first time as a team since 2014.
The Scarlet Knights gathered to hear their name called during the ESPN Selection Special on Monday, which revealed a play-in dual meet against Clemson (NQS 196.255) on Thurs., April 3 at 3 p.m., hosted at the Tuscaloosa regional site. Rutgers qualified for one of the 36 spots at regionals with an NQS of 195.890, ranked 34th nationally.
Rutgers will be competing against Clemson for an opportunity to join a quad against 3-seed Florida, 14-seed Oregon State, and NC State on Fri., April 4. The top two teams from that second round quad will advance to the regional final on Sun., April 6 in Tuscaloosa. The top two teams from the regional final head to Forth Worth, Texas for the national semifinals on April 17.
Rutgers is one of a record 11 Big Ten programs selected to the NCAA Regional Championships. The Scarlet Knights moved into a qualifying position at the Big Ten Championships last weekend with its best showing at the conference meet (196.225).
In addition to the team selection, three individuals qualified based on their NQS event scores throughout 2025. Delaney Adrian qualified on bars, while Gabrielle Dildy and Rachael Riley qualified on beam. This trio will be competing in the second round quad meet on Fri., April 4 regardless of the team's result in the first round on Thursday.
