Box Score MINNEAPOLIS – The Rutgers women's tennis team (7-8, 1-6 B1G) was defeated by the Minnesota Golden Gophers (9-10, 1-5 B1G), 4-0 Friday night at the Baseline Tennis Center.

Doubles

The Gophers won the doubles point with wins on courts No. 1 & 2, however Minchae Kim and Cindy Zhou were leading 5-4 in their unfinished match.

Singles

Minnesota swept singles play with wins on courts No. 3, 5 & 6 all in straight sets.

However in unfinished matches, Mai Nguyen, Zuzanna Frankowska and Jackie Lopez all won sets to keep the Scarlet Knights close.

Next Up

RU will be back in action Sunday March 30 at 12 p.m. against the Wisconsin Badgers at Nielsen Tennis Stadium. The Scarlet Knights will then come back home to the Livingston Tennis Center to continue conference play when they take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Friday April 4 at 12 p.m. before facing off against the Iowa Hawkeyes on Sunday April 6 at 12 p.m.
