LOS ANGELES – The Rutgers women's tennis team (7-13, 1-11 B1G) was defeated by the No. 16 USC Trojans (14-6, 8-4 B1G), 4-0 Friday night at the David X. Marks Tennis Stadium.
Doubles
USC gained the advantage in doubles play before
Minchae Kim and
Zeynep Ilker won 6-3 to knot the score. The Trojans then earned the doubles point with a win on court two.
Singles
Kim was leading her unfinished match with a win in her first set, but the Trojans won in straight sets on courts one, three and six to take the dual.
