2025 Scarlet-White Game: Presented by PNC
Apr 21 | Football
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football is set to host its annual Scarlet-White Game, presented by PNC, on Saturday, April 26 at SHI Stadium. The on-field action starts at 2 p.m. and is part of Rutgers Day, one of the busiest days of the year on campus. Admission and parking are free, with gates set to open at 1 p.m.
Watch live on Big Ten Network with Dom Savino (play-by-play), Eric LeGrand (analyst) and Max Melton (sideline) on the call. Replays will air in the coming weeks. LeGrand, a former RU defensive tackle who has an announcement scheduled between the third and fourth quarters, has been part of the radio crew since 2011, named the New Jersey Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association (NSMA) in 2022 and is a member of the Class of 2020 for Rutgers Athletics Hall of Fame as a source of inspiration, hope and perseverance for people around the world. Melton will make his on-air debut after finishing his rookie season playing in all 17 games with the Arizona Cardinals and totaling 48 tackles with five passes defended and no touchdowns allowed. The cornerback collected 114 tackles, eight interceptions, 22 pass breakups and four blocked punts during his Scarlet Knights career, leading to becoming a second-round pick last year.
WRSU 88.7-FM has the radio broadcast with Sean Newcomb, Chase Jacoby, Anthony Palumbo, Noah Addeo and Jay Tomlinson.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to take part in free pregame activities inside of SHI Stadium beginning at 1 p.m. Stop by The Rutgers Boardwalk, presented by VisitNJ.org, which is moving onto the field for the day once again behind the north end zone. All fans can enjoy free games and rides, including the Ferris wheel, on the field before and during the game.
The Touchdown Club silent auction is live online and will continue through April 30. Over 40 items are up for bid, including experiences, tickets, golf foursomes, collectibles and more. All proceeds support Rutgers football.
Stop by the merchandise stand on the north side for a "spring cleaning" sale, with discounts up to 75 percent on select items. Also check out activations hosted by PNC, RWJBarnabas Health and VisitNJ.org.
The Marching Scarlet Knights and Rutgers Spirit Team will be in attendance and perform throughout the afternoon, alongside Sir Henry, the cannon crew and the Rutgers Knight. Halftime will feature the annual team spring awards, as well as a contest. Stay tuned for PNC Student-Athlete recognition and a special final play involving a Scarlet Knight from Team IMPACT.
Fans will see a familiar entry process at SHI Stadium to 2024. The weapons detection system will be in place and all gates will allow approved bags (view bag policy).
SHI Stadium is now cashless at all merchandise and concession stands, including the Amazon Red Zone stand. A cash-to-card kiosk (no fees) will be available at section 124 to convert cash to a debit card. Cards can be loaded for any value up to $500 and cards will work anywhere in the U.S. that accepts MasterCard. No cardholder information is gathered, while purchases and refunds are handled like any other credit card.
The Scarlet Knights are coming off a second straight winning season, posting a program-high points per game in the Big Ten era. Spring practice began March 28 and the Scarlet-White Game is the culmination of 15 practices.
