Gymnastics Posts 194.100 in Big Ten Opener

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers gymnastics posted a score of 194.100 in its Big Ten opener against Ohio State on Saturday at Jersey Mike's Arena. The Buckeyes posted a score of 195.750 to win the meet.
RU began the meet on vault, with Rachael Riley leading the team with a 9.800. In the event, Vivienne Larsen continued to improve in each of her first three performances, posting a career high 9.700. Senior Valentina Lorente Garcia also made her season debut, posting a 9.675.
On bars, the Scarlet Knights posted a 48.900, highlighted by a season-high mark of 9.850 by Delaney Adrian, who won the individual title at the meet. Gabrielle Dildy tied her career high with a 9.825, while Reagan Schenkel tied her season high with a 9.775.
Rachael Riley led the way on beam for RU with a season high of 9.800. On floor, Elliot Goldmsith and Dildy both dazzled with a 9.850, with Goldsmith's mark a season high.
