EAST LANSING, MICH. — Rutgers tennis was defeated at Michigan State, 4-1, on Saturday afternoon at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center.

Doubles

Unfortunately, Michigan State secured the doubles point on Saturday.

Duo Zuzanna Frankowska and Zeynep Ilker were nearing the end of an intense match, tied at 5-5, when the Spartans clinched the point.

Singles

Karina Jumazhanova was the lone Scarlet Knight to claim victory in singles today. She was the third to finish her match, winning in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.

Returner Naomi Karki was close to securing another point for RU, but the day was clinched before she could complete the third set, 3-6, 6-1, 5-4.
