
Robinson Named Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers long jumper Sincere Robinson was named the Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the historic Penn Relays on Saturday, April 25 in Philadelphia.
Robinson won his second title at the Penn Relays adding to his championship in 2024. The outdoor school record holder posted a winning distance of 7.65m (25' 1.25"). He currently owns the top mark in the Big Ten and No. 2 jump on the nation at 8.13m (26' 8.25") which he recorded to win the 2026 IC4A Championships.
This is the second weekly honor for the Scarlet Knights this season as pole vaulter Brian O'Sullivan was named the Co-Field Athlete of the Week on March 25.
Rutgers will compete in a pair of meets before preparing for the 2026 Big Ten Outdoor Championships. The Scarlet Knights will travel to the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton on May 1-2 and the LSU Invitational on May 2.
