Apr 09 | Women's Rowing
PISCATAWAY, N.J. (April 9, 2026) – Rutgers women's rowing and the R Fund have announced the launch of an annual giving campaign to support scholarship funding for today and into the future. Gifts to the Rutgers Women’s Rowing Scholarship Fund will make a meaningful and lasting impact on the future of the program.
Following a historic showing last summer at the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta, Rutgers women's rowing demonstrated it can compete on an international stage. Ranked No. 9 nationally to begin the 2026 season and led by the Regional Coaching Staff of the Year, this campaign builds on that momentum.
Continued support ensures that Rutgers women's rowing can maintain that success, remain competitive at the highest level and recruit the next generation of Scarlet Knights.
Our team is made up of strong, driven women who are committed to excellence On the Banks and beyond. Every day, our student-athletes and staff are raising our standards and building a competitive environment that challenges and elevates everyone in our program. This group is ready to represent Rutgers with pride and compete against the best crews in the country.Head Coach Justin Price
Since 2019, Rutgers has led the Big Ten in All-Academic and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors, with five Scarlet Knights named Big Ten Postgraduate Scholars – just a small reflection of the team demonstrating excellence not only on the water, but also in their academic and professional pursuits.
I am proud to launch the 2026 Rowing Scholarship Campaign. This vital initiative will directly impact our ability to recruit and develop elite student-athletes. While facilities and equipment are important, scholarships ultimately determine who sits in our boats on race day.Head Coach Justin Price
The campaign launches with a goal of $50,000 and donations can be made today through the R Fund website or by calling the R Fund office at 848-932-7629.
Your investment, at any level, makes a meaningful and lasting impact on the future of Rutgers Rowing. I invite you to be part of this effort as we continue our pursuit of Big Ten and national prominence.Head Coach Justin Price
