Rutgers rowing sent all eight of its boats to the grand finals at the Women's Eastern Sprints while earning seven medals in the championship-style event - including five gold medals - leading to Rutgers' second team title at the annual event.
The Varsity 8, Varsity 4, Second Varsity 4, Third Varsity 4A, and Fourth Varsity 8 all claimed victories in their grand final races, while the Second Varsity 8 and Third Varsity 8 both earned bronze.
The Scarlet Knights won all six heats in the morning as the top two boats from each heat advanced to the grand final.
The Varsity beat out runner-up No. 8 Brown by 6.3 seconds of open water in its grand final. The Varsity 4 won in a photo finish against No. 14 Harvard by less than a tenth of a second to win gold. The Second Varsity 4 cleared No. 8 Brown by five seconds to win its grand final race. The Third Varsity 4A raced to a dominating 15.1-second victory in its final race to win gold. The Fourth Varsity 8, racing directly in the grand final against three other boats, finished first by 2.1 seconds over Michigan State.
The Third Varsity 8, after winning its heat by 11.5 seconds over Michigan State, took bronze in the grand final behind No. 8 Brown and No. 19 Columbia. The Second Varsity 8 also took bronze behind No. 8 Brown and No. 14 Harvard.
Rutgers' Varsity 4 and Third Varsity 4 have each won Big Ten Boat of the Week three times this season.
The two boats picked up their first weekly awards following their performances at the Doc Hosea Invitational on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. In the morning session at Doc Hosea, the Varsty 4 placed second and was only 0.5 seconds behind the first-place boat from #3 Yale and outstroked #16 Penn by 14.2 seconds. In the afternoon, the Scarlet Knight Varsity 4 earned the victory, edging #12 Syracuse by 7.7 seconds. The Third Varsity 4, meanwhile, won both sessions at Doc Hosea. In the morning, RU outpaced #3 Yale by 49.5 seconds and #12 Syracuse by 52.5 seconds. Later in the day, the Scarlet Knights met up again with Orange and bested #12 Syracuse with a 54.2-second margin of victory.

The two boats again picked up conference honors following the Ivy League Invitational on the Raritan River in Princeton, New Jersey. Rutgers' Varsity 4 won its race against #6 Princeton and was neck-and-neck with #7 Virginia and #9 Brown with only a three-second margin between the three boats. The Scarlet Knights came in 1.692 seconds behind runner-up #9 Brown and 3.092 seconds behind first-place #7 Virginia. They also finished ahead of the sixth-ranked Tigers in the afternoon, coming together for a 10.892-second margin of victory. RU's Third Varsity 4A won both its races at the Ivy League Invitational. In the morning, the Scarlet Knights finished ahead of both #7 Virginia and #9 Brown coming in first place with a 14.052 margin of victory over #7 Virginia. They also placed first in the afternoon, crossing 18.344 seconds ahead of their B counterparts and 45.826 seconds in front of Cornell.

Both boats earned conference honors for a third time following the Big Ten Invitational. Rutgers' First Varsity Four picked up a first, second and third place finish, while the Scarlet Knights' Third Varsity 4 captured victories in two of its three races, including an upset win over #1 Stanford.
The Varsity 4 was the top boat across the finish line, besting #16 Ohio State and #20 UCLA, along with Notre Dame and San Diego in session I. RU held a 12.407-second margin of victory over the runner-up Buckeyes. Rutgers took second in Session III, finishing behind top-ranked Stanford. As runner-ups, the Scarlet Knights crossed 6.623 seconds ahead of third-place Oregon State and placed in front of #23 Indiana and Iowa. Session III, less than 4.437 seconds separating Rutgers from #1 Stanford and #5 Washington. The Scarlet Knights placed third, only 4.437 seconds behind the top-ranked Cardinal and 1.860 seconds behind the runner-up Huskies.
The Third Varsity 4 picked up its first win in Session I, topping #20 UCLA, Minnesota, #16 Ohio State and San Diego. The Scarlet Knights clocked in 3.788 seconds ahead of the Bruins for the victory. Session II saw Rutgers finish 7.891 seconds ahead of the top-ranked Stanford and also cross the finish line ahead of #16 Ohio State, Oregon State and Iowa. RU took third place in Session II behind #5 Washington and #1 Stanford, but finished in front of #9 Cal and #17 Michigan. The Scarlet Knights were behind the runner-up Cardinal by less than a four-second margin.

Rutgers has competed at the Doc Hosea, Ivy Invitational and Big Ten Invitational this spring season.
At Doc Hosea back on March 29 on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, the morning session saw RU's Third Varsity 4 A boat take first while the B boat placed second against both #3 Yale and #12 Syracuse. The Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8, Varsity 4, Second Varsity 4, Third Varsity 8 and Fourth Varsity 8 all had runner-up performances. The Varsity 4, Third Varsity 4 and Third Varsity 8+ all picked up victories over Syracuse in the afternoon.
Continuing the season at the Ivy League Invitational on April 11 in Princeton, New Jersey upstream on the Raritan River, the Third Varsity 4 captured a win over #7 Virginia and #9 Brown and the Varsity 4 and Second Varsity 4 took home victories over #6 Princeton. Additionally, the Third Varsity 4 captured a dominant win over Cornell by nearly 46 seconds.
The Scarlet Knights were last in action at the Big Ten Invitational on Lake Natoma in Gold River, California on April 18-19.
On day one, RU captured eight victories, including the Scarlet Knights' Third Varsity 4 with a first-place finish over #1 Stanford. The Third Varsity 4 finished 7.891 seconds ahead of the top-ranked Cardinal to lead the Scarlet Knights in the afternoon session, also crossing the finish line ahead of #16 Ohio State, Oregon State and Iowa. The day one morning session saw RU race to six first-place finishes. The Second Varsity 8, First Varsity 4, Second Varsity 4, Third Varsity 4 and Third Varsity 8 all crossed ahead of #16 Ohio State and #20 UCLA. The Fourth Varsity 8 also led the Scarlet Knights to victory in front of #9 Cal and #17 Michigan. The Second Varsity had the RU's largest margin of victory in the morning, besting runner-up #20 UCLA by 12.287 seconds. In addition to the Third Varsity 4's win in the afternoon over the top-ranked Cardinal, Rutgers' Fourth Varsity 8 posted a win, topping #16 Ohio State, Iowa and #23 Indiana, finishing ahead of the Buckeyes by 10.700 seconds.
Day two saw Rutgers claim a runner-up finish in the Fourth Varsity 8 crossing behind #5 Washington and ahead of #17 Michigan and #9 California. The First Varsity 4 and Third Varsity 4, meanwhile, both took third in their respective heats. The First Varsity 4 came in 4.407 seconds behind #1 Stanford and were edged by #5 Washington by 1.760 seconds for second, while the Third Varsity 4 were just behind runner-up #1 Stanford by 3.863 seconds with #5 Washington taking first place. Both boats topped #9 California and #17 Michigan.

Rutgers has competed at the Doc Hosea, Ivy Invitational and Big Ten Invitational this spring season.
At Doc Hosea back on March 29 on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, the morning session saw RU's Third Varsity 4 A boat take first while the B boat placed second against both #3 Yale and #12 Syracuse. The Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8, Varsity 4, Second Varsity 4, Third Varsity 8 and Fourth Varsity 8 all had runner-up performances. The Varsity 4, Third Varsity 4 and Third Varsity 8+ all picked up victories over Syracuse in the afternoon.
Continuing the season at the Ivy League Invitational on April 11 in Princeton, New Jersey upstream on the Raritan River, the Third Varsity 4 captured a win over #7 Virginia and #9 Brown and the Varsity 4 and Second Varsity 4 took home victories over #6 Princeton. Additionally, the Third Varsity 4 captured a dominant win over Cornell by nearly 46 seconds.
The Scarlet Knights were last in action at the Big Ten Invitational on Lake Natoma in Gold River, California on April 18-19.
On day one, RU captured eight victories, including the Scarlet Knights' Third Varsity 4 with a first-place finish over #1 Stanford. The Third Varsity 4 finished 7.891 seconds ahead of the top-ranked Cardinal to lead the Scarlet Knights in the afternoon session, also crossing the finish line ahead of #16 Ohio State, Oregon State and Iowa. The day one morning session saw RU race to six first-place finishes. The Second Varsity 8, First Varsity 4, Second Varsity 4, Third Varsity 4 and Third Varsity 8 all crossed ahead of #16 Ohio State and #20 UCLA. The Fourth Varsity 8 also led the Scarlet Knights to victory in front of #9 Cal and #17 Michigan. The Second Varsity had the RU's largest margin of victory in the morning, besting runner-up #20 UCLA by 12.287 seconds. In addition to the Third Varsity 4's win in the afternoon over the top-ranked Cardinal, Rutgers' Fourth Varsity 8 posted a win, topping #16 Ohio State, Iowa and #23 Indiana, finishing ahead of the Buckeyes by 10.700 seconds.
Day two saw Rutgers claim a runner-up finish in the Fourth Varsity 8 crossing behind #5 Washington and ahead of #17 Michigan and #9 California. The First Varsity 4 and Third Varsity 4, meanwhile, both took third in their respective heats. The First Varsity 4 came in 4.407 seconds behind #1 Stanford and were edged by #5 Washington by 1.760 seconds for second, while the Third Varsity 4 were just behind runner-up #1 Stanford by 3.863 seconds with #5 Washington taking first place. Both boats topped #9 California and #17 Michigan.
