PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Join the fun at SHI Stadium as single game tickets are now on sale for the 2026 Rutgers football season. The Scarlet Knights look forward to hosting seven home games with numerous promotions and fun for the whole family, including the return of The Rutgers Boardwalk, presented by Visit New Jersey.
SHI Stadium has seen 12 sellouts since 2022, as two of the top three home crowds in program history took place in 2025.
Home Game 1
Postgame Fireworks (Youth Sports Knight)
Thursday, Sept. 3 vs. UMass (6 p.m.)

• Home Opener + Postgame Fireworks Show Spectacular!
• Season ticket holders and youth sports teams get exclusive on-field access for the firework show.

• Celebrate Sir Henry's birthday with his favorite mascot friends from around the tri-state area. • As part of the Military Appreciation, current service members, veterans and ROTC will be recognized throughout the day. Various military vehicles will be stationed along The Rutgers Boardwalk and look above following the national anthem for a flyover.

The Rutgers Boardwalk
The Rutgers Boardwalk, presented by Visit New Jersey, opens four hours prior to kickoff for each home game and is the place to stop by for food trucks and giveaways such as buttons, shakers and posters. The whole family will enjoy free rides, games, activities and live entertainment leading up to the pregame parade, team arrival and Scarlet Walk.
Sir Henry's Kids Club
For just $40, kids aged 12 and under can become official members of Sir Henry's Kids Club with active membership from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Memberships can be purchased at a discounted rate of $5 off per additional child per household and membership packs (including a credential, lanyard, pennant, t-shirt, sticker pack and welcome card from Sir Henry) will be shipped directly to each Kids Club member. Stop by Sir Henry's castle on The Rutgers Boardwalk for Sir Henry's Kids Club Zone. Members will enjoy two (2) free tickets to select home football, men's and women's basketball games and wrestling matches. The membership also includes two (2) free tickets to all home men's lacrosse games and volleyball matches.
