Women's Basketball Signs Natassja Kolff Martini

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Rutgers women's basketball head coach Gary Redus II announced the signing of Natassja Kolff Martini to the 2026-27 roster. The 6-foot-2 center from Argentina joins the Scarlet Knights after spending the 2025-26 season with Obras Sanitarias in Argentina's Liga Femenina and brings experience competing at the international level with the Argentine National Team.
"We're so excited to finally be able to announce Natty," Redus said. "It was a long, drawn-out process, and we're incredibly thankful to our administration for helping us navigate it. It's another example of how strong the R Family is. As a player, Natty is going to make an immediate impact in our frontcourt. Her experience at the international level and the success she's had speaks for itself. She's a high-level rebounder and finisher at the rim, but she also has more versatility to her game than she's tapped into. We're excited to help her unlock that and see just how much more she can bring to our team."
Kolff, a native of Neuquén, Argentina, has competed against some of the top talent in South America throughout her career. With Obras Sanitarias, she averaged 7.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in 18.8 minutes per game.
During the 2025-26 season, Kolff had great success playing with El Talar W, averaging a double-double with 26.7 points and 10.3 rebounds.
A member of Argentina's national-team program, Kolff represented her country at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. Argentina earned the bronze medal at the tournament, with Kolff one of 12 players selected to the national team roster.
Kolff also has extensive experience with Argentina's youth national teams. She helped her team to gold at the 2023 FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup, averaging 7.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game across seven contests. She previously represented Argentina at the 2022 FIBA U18 Women's Americas Championship and the 2018 South American U15 Women's Championship.
Earlier this year, Kolff was selected to participate in Argentina's national-team development program, joining a group of 23 players identified as part of the country's long-term national-team pipeline. The program is designed to expand Argentina's player pool and prepare the next generation of talent for future international competition.
