2016-17 (As a redshirt junior): 
Beat two-time NCAA qualifier Joseph Palmer, 6-2, in RU’s 38-3 dual win over Oregon State (Jan. 20) … topped Penn State’s George Carpenter, 11-4, for his first Big Ten win of the season (Jan. 13) … placed sixth at the 54th Annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships (Dec. 29-30) … earned first Big Ten win of the year by major decision, 14-6, over Michael Beck of Maryland (Dec. 11) … finished with a 2-1 record and a win by fall at the Journeymen Tussle (Dec. 4) … won by fall over Alec Kelly, 5:46, in match against Columbia (Nov. 27) … went 3-1 and finished as runner-up at the East Stroudsburg University Open (Nov. 6).

2015-16 (As a junior):
Compiled a 14-5 redshirt season … competed at the 53rd Annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships (Dec. 29-30) … placed third at the Nittany Lion Open with a 5-1 showing (Dec. 6) … posted a third-place finish with a 3-1 day at the Mat Town Open (Nov. 22) … finished as runner-up at the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open, falling to No. 4-ranked and three-time All-American, Nashon Garrett (Cornell), by a 6-1 score in the final (Nov. 8).


2014-15 (As a sophomore): NCAA qualifier … posted an 0-2 mark at first national tournament … went 21-12 on the year … pinned Purdue’s Danny Sabatello in 6:33 to finish ninth at the Big Ten Championships (March 7-8) … went 12-6 in dual competition … ended the Big Ten dual season with a 5-4 record … captured his first top-10 win of the year against Ohio State’s No. 7 Johnni DiJulius by a 7-1 score (Feb. 1) … debuted in the Intermat and FloWrestling rankings at No. 20 and 17, respectively, following a 10-4 upset decision against then-No. 14 Geoffrey Alexander (Jan. 18) … beat Iowa’s Phillip Laux, 10-3, in dual action to give Rutgers its first Big Ten Conference bout victory in program history (Jan. 2) …  posted a 2-0 mark at the Third Annual “Grapple at the Garden” (Dec. 21) … went 3-2 at the 33rd Annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational to finish one match shy of placing (Dec. 7) … recorded a 2-1 mark at the Journeymen/Asics Northeast Duals (Nov. 29) … came back from being down 6-3 against Hofstra’s Maverick Passaro to cap a 9-8 win (Nov. 16) … opened the season with a Clarion Open title at 133 pounds (Nov. 2) … went 4-0 at the tournament with two major decisions and a 6-4 win over Jade Rauser (Utah Valley) in the finals.

2013-14 (As a freshman):
Finished rookie season with a 20-7 record, including a 4-3 mark in dual action ... captured first place at the National Collegiate Open, defeating Tyler Keselring of Central Michigan, 6-4, to take top honors (March 2) ... placed third at the 11th Annual "Shorty" Hitchcock Memorial Classic, going 5-1 on the day ... posted a combined 2-1 record at the Asics/Journeymen Northeast Duals (Nov. 30) and "Grapple at the Garden" (Dec. 1), picking up an 11-8 win over Michigan State's Hermilo Esquivel in RU's 20-18 victory over the Spartans (Nov. 30) ... earned the first dual win of his career by major decision against Clarion's Johnathan Mele (Nov. 22) ... finished third at the 2013 Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open at 125 pounds, losing his first bout before winning seven straight in wrestle backs (Nov. 10) ... fell to Hofstra's Jamie Franco, 5-1, in his first career collegiate dual bout (Nov. 3).


Prior to Rutgers: Compiled a 160-10 career record as a four-year letterwinner at South Plainfield ... two-time state champion at 132 pounds ... went 44-0 during his senior season ... ranked the No. 7 133-pounder by Intermat ... qualified for the state tournament in 2010 and 2011 ... teammate at South Plainfield with fellow classmates Anthony Ashnault, and Dylan Painton.

Personal: Son of Cheryl and Scott ... has three brothers, Jake, Zack and Tyler, and one sister, Caitlyn.
