Prior to Rutgers: Coached by Derek Sininsky at St. John Vianney … two-way lineman during high school career … helped the Lancers to a 10-1 record and a Shore Conference Class A Central title during senior campaign … St. John Vianney also advanced to the semifinals of the NJSIAA Non-Public, Group 3 playoffs … started on an offensive line that helped the Lancers’ leading rusher to 1,237 yards and 16 touchdowns … also played defensive tackle … Second Team All-Non Public by the Star-Ledger … Third Team All-Shore by the Asbury Park Press … three-star prospect and top-35 player in New Jersey by Rivals … 25th-best player in the state and a three-star lineman by ESPN.
