Prior to Rutgers:  Wrestled first collegiate season at Iowa Central Community College … will have three seasons of eligibility beginning in 2020-21 … 2020 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) heavyweight champion with a 36-1 record in 2019-20 … produced 21 falls and outscored his opponents, 244-43, during first collegiate season, recording 62 takedowns against just six allowed … also a district champion during his time at Iowa Central … rated the No. 1 junior college 285-pound recruit by Intermat.

Prior to Iowa Central: Competed at Dubuque Wahlert in Dubuque, Iowa … captured a Class 2A state title at 220 pounds in 2018 … finished senior season with a 45-1 record … first team all-Iowa Elite selection by The Des Moines Register … voted a junior All-American during his time at Dubuque.
