Prior to Rutgers: Coached by Ed Gallagher at Souderton … two-year captain who played quarterback and defensive back during scholastic career … totaled over 200 career tackles, 2,500 passing yards and 25 total touchdowns … completed 83-of-148 passes for 1,198 yards and 10 touchdowns and rushed for 247 yards and five more scores during senior season in 2019 … also added 80 tackles, four passes defended, an interception and blocked kick during final high school season … helped Souderton to an 8-3 record and an appearance in the PIAA District 1, 6A playoffs in 2019 … earned Second Team 6A All-State at defensive back … also first team All-Continental Conference at defensive back as voted by the coaches … first team all-conference at defensive back and second team all-conference at quarterback by The Intelligencer … threw for 1,063 yards and five touchdowns, added four rushing scores and recorded 52 tackles as a junior in 2018 … also a standout in basketball at Souderton.
