RUTGERS ON THE AIR
Rutgers basketball games air over the Rutgers IMG Sports Network via 50,000-watt WOR 710 AM in New York and WCTC 1450 AM in New Brunswick, as well as on WRSU 88.7 FM Rutgers Student Radio.
Rutgers University Athletics, in conjunction with Rutgers Sports Properties, also produces the Steve Pikiell Podcast Powered by Learfield/IMG College, a 12-episode podcast dedicated to Scarlet Knights men's basketball. Hosted by men's hoops play-by-play voice Jerry Recco, the podcast available via the Inside Rutgers Athletics channel on Apple Podcasts and is also available on Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify and iTunes by searching "Inside Rutgers Athletics."

JERRY RECCO
Jerry Recco, the morning updates anchor on sports radio station WFAN in New York City, is in his fourth season as men’s basketball play-by-play announcer with the Rutgers IMG Sports Radio Network. Born in Brooklyn and raised in New Jersey, he has also served as the radio play-by-play voice of Columbia Lions football since 2006. Recco received a BA in Media Arts from Jersey City State College and began his career at WFAN as an intern before quickly moving up the station ranks. He also spent time covering the New York Giants in 2004 and the covering the New York Jets in 2007 and 2008. He is WFAN’s Super Bowl reporter, having covered the last five. Recco currently serves as the studio host for Compass Media Networks’ presentation of the Dallas Cowboys. Recco, his wife Kim and their sons Matthew and Joseph, currently reside on the Jersey Shore.

JOE BOYLAN
Joe Boylan, who served as Associate Head Basketball Coach at Rutgers from 1973-85 and was the Scarlet Knights’ radio analyst from 1985-91, returned to the booth in 2015-16. Boylan, the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at Loyola (Md.) from 1991 to 2010, worked the 2014-15 season as the radio analyst for San Jose State men’s basketball. “On the Banks,” Boylan worked under Hall of Fame head coach Tom Young, helping RU to a 238-114 record and a Final Four appearance in 1976. The Scarlet Knights also appeared in the 1975, 1979 and 1983 NCAA tournaments and in the NIT in 1974, 1977, 1978 and 1982. Boylan served as Assistant Athletic Director of Academic Support Programs for all sports at Rutgers from 1985-91 before accepting the Athletic Director position at Loyola. A Baltimore native, Boylan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Lafayette in 1960 where he earned varsity letters in both basketball and soccer before receiving his Master of Arts from Johns Hopkins in 1969. From 1961 to 1963, Boylan served in the U.S. Army. Boylan and his wife, Molly, have a daughter, Heather, who is a Rutgers graduate and former RU cheerleader, and a grandson named Jake who plays basketball at Richmond.

BRUCE BECK Emmy Award-winning sports journalist Bruce Beck is the host and voice of “Knightlife,” Rutgers Athletics’ new web show. Condensed episodes of the show, “Slice of Knightlife,” will stream weekly during the 2019-20 season, with one full, featured episode streaming each month that includes a conversation with Director of Athletics Pat Hobbs.
