RUTGERS ATHLETICS COVID-19 IN-VENUE PROTOCOLS
As the COVID-19 virus continues to move from pandemic toward endemic, the university has returned to normal operations as much as responsibly possible. In doing so, the university continues to take prudent steps to mitigate the effects of this virus so students and the university community can enjoy a vibrant, in-person college experience.
On October 1, 2022, several significant updates to the university's COVID-19 protocols will go into effect. These changes are being made after careful consultation with university medical experts and in recognition of a stable public health situation on Rutgers campuses and across the state.
- Masking is no longer required for indoor public event, which includes inside Jersey Mike’s Arena and the Provident Bank Stadium Club and press box at SHI Stadium.
- Events, both indoor and outdoor, will no longer require attendees to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.
