Where do I get my tickets?
Graduate and guest tickets will be sent to your Rutgers Ticket Account. You will use your NetID and log in to access all tickets. Click HERE for a step-by-step guide on how to claim your tickets.
My NetID has expired, how will I be able to get my tickets?
A new account has been created for you via your personal e-mail. You will log in with the personal e-mail provided to your school and you will be prompted to create a password to view your tickets.
When do I get my tickets?
Each school has a different date. See below for the full list. The color of the box where your graduation is listed is the color that will coincide with your ticket.
I have multiple ceremonies I am attending. Will I be able to see all my tickets for myself and my guests?
Yes. You will be able to view all tickets for graduate and guests for each ceremony on your Rutgers Ticket Account.
I have multiple ceremonies I am attending, but I only see some of the ceremonies in my ticking portal. What do I do?
See “When do i get my tickets” to confirm you have access to view your tickets in your Rutgers Ticket Account.

How do I transfer tickets?

Can I request additional tickets?
All ticket requests are handled through your respective school’s ticket liaison. Some schools DO NOT offer additional tickets for their ceremony. The number of tickets you have been approved for will be in your Rutgers Ticket Account. To be added to the ticket waiting list, please reach out to your ticket liaison for your ceremony – see chart below.
Do my guests need to download the Rutgers Ticketing App in advance?
All guests will be prompted on how to accept and download their guest ticket when you transfer them their ticket.
What do I do if someone in my family doesn’t have a smart phone?
Guests can have multiple tickets on their phone. If one family member does not have a smart phone, another family member can be responsible for keeping all the tickets on their phone. The guests will have to walk into the building together.
What do I do if someone in my family doesn’t have a smart phone and they are traveling alone?
When they arrive on site, they will be directed to the box office window at the front of Jersey Mike’s Arena and will be asked to share their graduate’s full name.
I already transferred a ticket, but the guest(s) can no longer attend. What should I do?
Tickets can be transferred until they are scanned at the door for entrance. A guest who can no longer attend can transfer their ticket back to the graduate or to another guest. Click HERE to view a step-by-step guide on how to transfer tickets.
Can I keep all tickets in my ticket portal and walk into the ceremony with my guests?
Graduates and guests will enter the building in different entrances. Graduates and guests should download their tickets to their mobile wallet as soon as they know they will be attending the ceremony.
Where do I enter with my ticket?
Below is a map of Jersey Mike's Arena with designated entrances for graduates and guests. Please note that the entrances for graduates is different than the entrance for guests.
When do I download my ticket to my digital wallet?
Once you receive your tickets it is best to download to your digital wallet right away. DO NOT wait to download your ticket until you are in line to enter the building. I have a guest attending who will be bringing a newborn/infant. Do they need a ticket?
Any guest who is 2 years of age or older will need a ticket.
What is the bag policy?
The clear bag policy will be strictly enforced for graduates and guests coming to Jersey’s Mike’s Arena for Rutgers graduations. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and approximately 12" x 6" x 12", or one-gallon clear plastic bags or similar, and small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, will be allowed in Jersey Mike’s Arena. Oversized bags will NOT be allowed in the facility. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Please refer to visual layout below.
Jersey Mike’s Arena Policies/Prohibited Items
There is no re–entry into the arena. No pass outs allowed. All guests and graduates must present a ticket for entry. All items brought into the arena will be inspected. Jersey Mike’s Arena regulations prohibit outside food and beverages, bottles, cans, alcoholic beverages, coolers, umbrellas, noisemaking devices, balloons, laser pointers, pets (with the exception of service animals), balls, weapons, sticks/poles, containers, fireworks and any other items deemed dangerous or inappropriate from being brought into the facility. By use of your ticket, you consent to a reasonable search for prohibited items. Ticket stubs are not valid for re–entry. The selling of any item by anyone other than university–authorized personnel in and around Jersey Mikes Arena, including the parking lots, is prohibited. Violators are subject to prosecution.
