Rutgers Athletics is proud to partner with the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix), a nonprofit organization founded by veterans dedicated to support and honor the US. military community, veterans and their families.
By partnering with Vet Tix, Rutgers Athletics supports the mission of Vet Tix to provide tickets to events which reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories, and encourage service members and veterans to stay engaged with local communities and American life. Vet Tix supports our troops by honoring their service and providing positive family and life experiences, during and after their years of service to our country. Vet Tix provides tickets to all branches of currently serving military and veterans. Vet Tix secures tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts, educational, and family activities across the nation. How can I donate my tickets to Vet Tix?
Tickets may be donated to Vet Tix using the Ticket Transfer feature by email only to donate@vettix.org. For information on how to transfer your tickets, please visit our Ticket Transfer page.
How does the recipient receive my tickets?
Once you complete the steps of donating tickets to Vet Tix, Vet Tix takes care of finding a home for your ticket(s). Vet Tix has an extensive screening process to ensure that your donated ticket(s) find a home.
How do I know my donated tickets were used?
Approximately two weeks following the event, patrons who donate their season tickets will receive a “Thank You” email notification from the recipient. Patrons who donate their season tickets will also receive an e-mail at a later date outlining the taxable benefits of their donation.
What happens to my original tickets once the tickets have been donated to Vet Tix?
Your original tickets are no longer valid for admission. Any individual presenting invalid tickets for admission will be denied entry into an event.
Why are my tickets not available to donate to Vet Tix?
If you have previously posted your tickets for sale on SEATGEEK, please remember that you must DELETE your listing from SEATGEEK, not just DEACTIVATE your listing, for your inventory to appear to donate your tickets.
