Prior to Rutgers: Coached by Bruce Ward at Gahanna Lincoln … played defensive end and tight end during scholastic career … left as the program’s all-time sack leader ... helped the Golden Lions to a 12-1 record and an OHSAA Division I, Region III Championship appearance in 2023 … finished senior season with 63 tackles, 27 tackles-for-loss, 14.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery … first team all-state selection on defense … also guided Lincoln to a OHSAA Division I, Region III title as a junior … a top-50 signee from Ohio by both 247Sports and Rivals … a top-100 defensive end prospect nationally by ESPN … also played basketball at Lincoln.
