Cassie Petty returned to Rutgers football in 2020 and serves as the Director of Recruiting Operations. In this role, she handles the planning and operational logistics for on-campus recruiting visits. In addition to planning recruiting events, she assists with team travel and various events throughout the year.

A Rutgers graduate, Petty previously spent the 2019 season with Arizona football and also worked with the New York Giants.

Petty started with Rutgers football as a student recruiting assistant, working camps, unofficial visits and other on-campus events. That included working the 2014 Quick Lane Bowl victory in Detroit. She moved over to be a football operations intern during her senior year, assisting the director of football operations with travel preparation and game day duties.

A native of Howell, New Jersey, Petty earned her degree from Rutgers in 2016 as a sport management major.
