Rutgers University Athletics

Jan Bruins is in his sixth year as an athletic trainer with Rutgers Athletics after he joined the department in 2016. Bruins helps the training staff provide top-of-the-line medical care for the Scarlet Knights in order to maintain player wellness.

Bruins earned his bachelor’s degree in science and exercise science and sports studies from Rutgers in 2012. Bruins also obtained his master’s in athletic training from Shenandoah University in 2016.

Bruins currently resides in Somerset, New Jersey.
