Rutgers University Athletics

Joel Roth is the team physical therapist for the Rutgers University football program. 

Previously, Roth served as Head Physical Therapist at Temple University from 2008-2020, working specifically with the football program since 2010.  He worked as a Sports Physical Therapist with St. Joseph's University athletics prior to that.  He worked at NovaCare Rehabilitation from 2007-2020 first as a Staff Therapist and then became Center Manager overseeing several clinics.  He served as Program Director for the NovaCare Sports Residency in Philadelphia as it was developed.

Joel earned his Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University in 2003 followed by his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2006.  He is a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics since 2013.
