Kamali OāBrian is in his first season with Rutgers football as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2023. Prior to his arrival āOn the Banks,ā OāBrian spent the previous three years at Wagner (2020-23). OāBrian was promoted to associate athletic director for sports performance with the Seahawks in 2022 after two years as an assistant athletic director.
OāBrian arrived at Wagner after serving as an assistant strength and condition coach at Robert Morris from 2019-20, where he worked with the Colonialsā football, menās golf and menās and womenās lacrosse programs.
OāBrian spent 2018 at Baylor as an assistant athletic performance coach, working exclusively with the Bearsā football program, instructing return-to-play athletes.
OāBrianās other work experiences at the collegiate level include stints at St. Josephās (2019), IUP (2016-18), Pittsburgh (2017) and Edinboro (2016). His certifications include NSCA CSCS Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USAW Sport Performance Level I and FMS Functional Movement Screen Level I.
OāBrian graduated with a bachelorās degree in human performance from Edinboro, where he lettered in lacrosse.
