Shutte on Walsh: “Walsh marks the first time in my tenure that we signed a student athlete from the Midwest. It’s good to have someone from the heart of the Big Ten area. He’s also been around some of the best golfers in the country, so he understands the caliber of play it takes to succeed at Rutgers and in the Big Ten Conference. He fits in well with our culture.”
FALL 2015: Completed his first collegiate appearance with a 227 (75-78-74) during the Rutgers Invitational (9/11-12).
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed at Lyons Township High School, where he captured the 2014 3A York Regional individual title with a 3-under-par 67 ... enjoyed first-place individual totals at the 2014 MAJGT Second City Classic and the 2013 AJGA Preseason Junior at Ravisloe.
