David Bodden

David Bodden joined the Rutgers Athletics staff in December 2021 as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. Bodden is responsible for the yearly strength and conditioning of the men’s and women’s lacrosse programs.
 

Bodden arrived after serving as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Princeton University from March 2021 to December 2021. During his tenure at Princeton, he was directly responsible for the programming of men’s and women’s ice hockey, field hockey, men’s tennis and men’s squash.   

Prior to Princeton, Bodden was the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Colgate University from December 2019 to February 2021 and Iona from August 2018 to November 2019.

Bodden graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2016 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and again in 2018 with an M.S. in Exercise Science and Nutrition.
 
A native of Toms River, New Jersey, Bodden is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) Mobility Specialist and holds his Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification.
