Prior to Rutgers: NJSIAA Group I cross country champion during senior season in 2016, the first in South Amboy history … also finished first at the NJSIAA Sectionals … owns a PR of 15:30.0 in the 5K, produced at the Battle at Ocean County … added a second-place result of 16:23.5 at the Greater Middlesex Conference Championship … First Team All-State by the Star-Ledger.
Personal: An engineering major with minor studies in politcal science... Plans on a career in law... Son of Annette and Patrick... Father, Patrick, ran at LIU; cousin, Brianna Haspel, runs for Rutgers; cousin, Kelly, played basketball for Ramapo; cousin, Tara, runs at Sacred Heart; two uncles ran in NCAA Division I...Participated in Student Council, Sports With Friends, History Club and the Prom Committee... Member of Young Americans for Freedom... Proudest sports moment was bringing track team to small high school for the first time and going on to win the 3200m Group 1 State Championship...Greatest sports influence is his family.

- Finished second in the mile with a time of 4:13.43 at the Metropolitan Championships (Jan. 31)
- Won the mile and posted a new PR with a time of 4:13.45 at the TCNJ Lions Invitational (Jan. 11)
- Posted an outdoor 5000m PR of 15:29.05 at the Larry Ellis Invitational (April 20).
- Finished second in the 10,000m with a PR of 33:15.38 to help collect the team title at the Metropolitan Championships (April 13).
- Finished eighth in the 1500m (4:08.19) and 3000m (9:07.72) at the Rider 5-Way (Mar. 30).
- Finished third in the 5000m with a time of 15:29.12 at the Metropolitan Championships (Feb. 1).
- Posted a new PR of 8:35.03 in the 3000m at the Terrier Classic (Jan. 26).
- Claimed the 10,000m title in his debut in the event with a time of 34:06.69 to help guide RU to the 2018 Outdoor Metropolitan Championship title (Apr. 13)
- Debuted in the 1500m with a time of 3:59.75 at the Sam Howell Invitational (Apr. 6)
- Won the 3,000m with a time of 8:41.82 at the Rider 5-Way (Mar. 31)
2017-18 (Indoor):
- Joined the distance medley relay that clocked a result of 10:08.77 in the finals at the IC4A Championships (Mar. 3-4)
- Posted a new PR in the mile with a time of 4:17.46 at the David Hemery Valentine’s Invitational (Feb. 9-10)
- Runner-up in the 5,000m with a PR of 15:03.06 at the Met Championships (Feb. 2)
- Contributed to the distance medley relay team’s third-place finish with a time of 10:18.60 at the Met Championships (Feb. 2)
- Contributed to the distance medley relay’s runner-up performance with a time of 10:20.12 at the Dr. Sander Invitational (Jan. 26)
- Finished fourth in the 5,000m with a time of 15:21.21 in his Rutgers debut at the TCNJ Winder Open (Dec. 2)
