Garofalo On Choosing Rutgers: "Rutgers has everything I've ever dreamed of. The softball program is amazing, the facilities are beautiful and the academics are also phenomenal. All of the coaches immediately made Rutgers feel like home and I instantly fell in love with the atmosphere they have here."
Butler On Garofalo: "Eva is one of two catchers to join us. Her strength behind the plate and her ability to play several positions adds great depth to our roster."
- Went 1-for-2 and scored twice, helping the Scarlet Knights to the series win over Michigan State in a 7-4 series finale victory (Apr. 12)
- Became the 15th Scarlet Knight with a home run with a two-run shot scoring her twin sister, Etta, for her first collegiate home run in a 9-6 game two setback with Michigan State (4/11)
