Carissa Liverpool (formerly Conroy) joined the Office for Leadership Development and Strategic Partnerships in 2018 as the Executive Director for the Varsity R Letterwinners Association.
She previously had spent from 2015 to 2018 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Development-Varsity R & Major Gifts. As Assistant Director, Carissa oversaw the Varsity R Letterwinners Association in which her responsibilities include engaging letterwinners with their sport specific programs and Rutgers Athletics, enhancing donor relationships and producing revenue for major gift prospects.
Prior to that position, Carissa spent six and a half years working in the Rutgers Athletics Compliance Department where she managed NCAA recruiting, extra benefits and playing & practice season legislation.
Liverpool was a four-year letterwinner in the sport of softball. She graduated from Rutgers in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management. In 2011, Liverpool earned her master's degree in Higher Education Administration from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education, following up with her Ed.D. in 2016. A native of Richmond, VA, she currently resides in Bridgewater, NJ.
