Will McIntire enters his first season "On The Banks" in 2024-25 as the Director of Scouting & Technology. He previosuly spent the past four seasons at the University of Iowa, working with the women's basketball team in several capacities.
In his most recent role, McIntire served as a graduate assistant for the Hawkeyes. In the role, he oversaw both the practice squad as well as the student manager group, advising their scheduling, training and teaching them opposing team schemes.
McIntire aided with scouting efforts in multiple ways, putting together playbooks and labeling film. He also helped with coordinating recruiting visits for Iowa by creating graphics, building itineraries, and coordinating other details.
He provided a great deal of support behind the scenes as well, engaging with donors, special visitors, and working with NIL collectives. McIntire spent time meeting with athletics administrations and departments within Iowa to ensure efficiency within team operations.
Before starting his role as a graduate assistant for the Hawkeyes, McIntire served as a student manager, participating in practices and attending all games. He managed equipment needs, filmed games and aided assisted coaches during various events.
A native of Iowa City, McIntire graduated with his master's degree in Sport and Recreation Management from Iowa in May.
