Dylan Theiss joined the Rutgers Athletics Department in 2024 and currently serves as an athletic trainer, overseeing the medical care for the Scarlet Knights gymnastic and dance programs.
Prior to arriving at Rutgers, Theiss spent two seasons at the University of Miami with the football program as a Fellow Athletic Trainer and two years at Texas A&M University-Commerce as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer, working with the football and track & field teams. He has also worked with the Monmouth University football and softball teams.
Theiss holds a B.S. in Athletic Training from Montclair State University and a Master's in Kinesiology & Sport Science from Texas A&M University-Commerce. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, dry needling-certified and an American Heart Association BLS-certified provider.
