Noah Lilienthal enters his second season as an assistant coach with Rutgers women's tennis in the 2025-26 season.
In 2025, Lilienthal helped guide the Scarlet Knights to an exciting spring. RU picked up a solid Big Ten win in the conference opener over Oregon, 4-3. The team also earned multiple regional rankings as Mai Nguyen was named the ITA Northeast Region Most Improved Player and earned Big Ten weekly praise. In addition, the team earned an overall ranking of No. 5 in the Northeast Region.
Lilienthal played at Wesleyan University (CT) where he helped the team reach as high as the Elite 8 in the NCAA tournament. During his time with the Cardinals, Lilienthal was named Division III National Rookie of the Year, Division III Player to Watch and was five time All-American.
Additionally, he made multiple appearances in the NCAA Division III National Individual championships, including a run to the doubles finals with his partner, Adrian Roji.
In the coaching sphere, Lilienthal has mentored several junior tennis players who have now reached top 100 nationally. He previously coached at the Marc Hill tennis academy and at Kings County Tennis League (Brooklyn, N.Y.) where he helped expand their high performance and community tennis programs.
Lilienthal received his B.A in Psychology and Music while at Wesleyan University, where he graduated with honors and Phi Beta Kappa.
