Emily Miglin

Emily Miglin joined Rutgers in July 2024 as an athletic trainer and works with the volleyball and women’s golf programs.

Miglin came to Rutgers after spending the previous two years at Georgian Court University. During that time, she worked as an athletic trainer, providing care primarily for the women’s volleyball, soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams. Emily also served as the Mental Health Advocacy Coordinator for the sports medicine department. She served as an adjunct professor for the Exercise Science Department as well, teaching CPR/AED and First Aid to undergraduate students.

Miglin graduated from Rutgers University in 2018, earning a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and a minor in psychology. She went on to earn a Master of Science in athletic training from Seton Hall in 2022. Upon graduation, Miglin received the Academic Performance Award for her program and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society.

Miglin was certified by the Board of Certification in 2022, holds licensure in New Jersey and is a member of the National Athletic Trainer Association. She is certified as an American Heart Association basic life support instructor. Emily also holds a certification in blood flow restriction therapy.
