Michael DeMarco

Michael DeMarco joined the Rutgers strength and conditioning staff in July 2018 and works with the Scarlet Knights' women's gymnastics and wrestling programs.

DeMarco wrestled for Rutgers from 2007-12, serving as team captain during his senior year and earning the Wilfred-Cann Award for most inspirational athlete in 2012 and the Scholar-Athlete award in 2010.

This will be DeMarco's second stint on the Rutgers staff, having served as volunteer assistant coach with the wrestling team in 2013.

Since graduation, DeMarco founded Motives Movement LLC, a sports performance business and facility in Millstone, NJ that has trained numerous NCAA Division I athletes along with talented middle and high school athletes.

He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

DeMarco earned his Bachelor's degree from Rutgers in exercise science in 2012 and currently resides in Lyndhurst.
