2015 (As a senior): Primarily competed with the Second Varsity 8, serving as the stroke at the 2015 Big Ten Championships in Indianapolis (May 17) ... also raced with the 2V8 at the Eastern Sprints (May 3), versus Navy and St. Joseph's (April 18), against No. 18 Wisconsin and No. 19 Minnesota (April 11), and at the Murphy Cup (March 28) ... rowed with the First Varsity 8 in the fourth seat in a second-place finish against Holy Cross and MIT (April 25).
2014 (As a junior): Raced as the stroke seat on the Third Varsity 4 at the 2014 American Athletic Conference Championships ... the boat tied for the best finish among RU competitors at the championships, finishing second with a time of 8:15.660.
2013 (As a sophomore): Named a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar Athlete ... winner of the Christine Reith Collard Douglass Scholarship Award in the fall of 2012 and 2013.
Prior to Rutgers: Was a three-year letterwinner on the Union HS track and field and basketball teams ... named a track captain in 2011.
Personal: Has four siblings: Obinna, Adora, Nneka and Onyeka ... daughter of Victor and Ifeoma ...intends to major in cell biology and neuroscience and minor in psychology and public health.
